Genting trip was really interesting. Got to bond with a lot of people and camwhore a whole lot. Shall update soon.

Now it is time to think about how I'm going to get a silver for NAPFA next year? Haih.

I'm tired.

Here we go...

This happened to me today.

The difference was, I was screaming, "Keep to the other side of the road!", rather than laughing for the vehicle helping to water plants in my garden.

Maksim is coming to Singapore! But I'll be in Malaysia next week. What a good opportunity gone T.T

Today, 09S52 has officially bid PW farewell after submitting I&R. Basically we had to paginate the whole Group Project File, and I actually had a lot of 'fun' writing in the page numbers, from 1 to 98, for all our documents. I will not miss rushing for the deadlines and changing stuff last minute, that is for sure.

I will definitely remember the process.

*Start of long rant*

PI to come up with fresh (but mostly nonsensical) ideas. Then came to meeting your PW mates for the rest of the year and suddenly seeing that there was 2 weeks to GPP deadline. And then came EoM, which gave Zhiwei and Caijia headaches because Mr Lim just kept rejecting their write up.

WR came as a massacre - first draft considered draft zero because it just seemed bad, and we were told to model after group's WR structure, then later told in our face that the structure was still wrong. O.O Second draft became better and we got some assurance. Third draft was marked with red ink all over the place, and we had to chiong and generate last minute ideas to dump in on the public holiday just before the deadline.

The road to OP set in smack during Chinese 'A's preparation and after promos. Where's the break when you needed it? Oh and taking time to MUG the script is no joke. Not forgetting the countless mess ups like the powerpoint's slide order and just forgetting what you really neede to say. And to end it off I&R when you thought you could celebrate after OP.

At least at the end of every stage of PW, there was this heave of relief and accomplishment. Well, the roller-coaster of emotions have come to a great concluding statement, so =DD.

*End of long rant*

Went to bowl and pool after meeting Mr Lim in the morning for the group project file bit. I must say Fan Xing is super good at pool!

Oh and suddenly I feel the need to do something about pull ups. What happened to the 6 pull up target I set earlier this year? Dang, I think the last time I visited the bar was like... just before promos. Sheesh, I need to get that momentum back real soon.

And again, thanks to PW I cannot help but feel weird if I don't see the NEA grading for food stalls clearly. This shows that PW does botch up your brain, and PW should just be continued since it at least leaves behind some benefits after rushing through all the deadlines.

"Fall on your knee..." - O Holy Night, Adolphe Adam

You know, I really did slip and fell on my knee at home. It's been three days but it hurts a lot when you even give it a light nudge. Thank goodness it doesn't hurt when I walk though.

Today was yet another day of turbulent emotions. The end of OP, the thought of rushing I&R. What disappointed me today most was that choir practice wasn't very good. Maybe it isn't entirely our fault, but in my opinion it could have been better.

Supposed to have combined sectionals with the tenors today, but they were doing some audio and video testing in the LT (of which was the first time I was doing sectionals in the LT for a really long time), and the buzzing sounds got really distracting. Couldn't really do what I wanted to do for that half an hour, and I felt quite bad because I am not really sure how to correct the tenors, and did not really get to know their parts beforehand. Sorry tenors for that confusion today!

But apart from that, practice with Mr Kwei was quite bad. Pitch was consistently darting around quarter-tone flat to 1 semitone sharp, and I could not help but feel quite irritated (maybe because I'm not used to singing such varying pitches). What made me slightly more upset that the general sound is very "spread", and that rounded vowels for our latin pieces were hardly present. And we are leaving for Genting next week for the workshops. Sigh.

I realise more than ever I need to help each person in my section individually. But that will have to be delayed till we get back from Genting.

... I'm just quite tired now. Hopefully Saturday's practice will be better.

I actually can't believe I sort of promised my Chinese teacher that I'll write one essay tonight, submit it to him at 7+am tomorrow and have him return it to me at 8+am.

How time flies. Tomorrow is the last Chinese lesson I'll probably ever have. Haih.

Jia En and Carolyn had their longest non-stop laughing session for 20 minutes in the choir room just today! Haha poor them. On the bright side, that is a lot of breath training for them. :)

Choir practices are back in full force. Somehow, it makes me happy to sing.

Promos are over, I did okay. In other words and in the VJC context, no re-papers. Sadly though (or maybe not), my H3 applications did not pull through. Oh well it's okay, I shall aim to remain a 11 unit-er until A Levels. Haha.

I need to pull my butt through A Level Chinese and the remnants of Project Work. It is the last lap, I wonder how far I'll go. I really want an 'A' for both okay! But the former seems increasingly hard to get - compositions getting out of point, not being able to find the synonyms in the passage. And yeah, not being able to find synonyms (which is a rather muggable thing) is costly - 12 marks out of 100 for Paper 2. Ouch.

And remember I screwed up my oral rather beautifully in July?

On the post-promo life front, it had to be spent with late nights all over the written report. And gosh, my tutor wanted a major overhaul like just 2 days before submission. So much for staying up late for 1 whole week only to stay up even later nearing submission. Well, at least it is over, oral presentation is next up!

WHY DO ALL THE ORAL PRESENTATION WORKSHOPS AND REHEARSALS HAVE TO SQUEEZE INTO THE LITTLE TIME I HAVE LEFT DOING A LEVEL CHINESE?

This blog needs a real good update. I am not sure when that will happen, but probably soon. I really don't want to die out on keeping the posts rolling. Just yet.

In the meantime, I shall think of eternal cycles, frogs leaping into the water, christmas carols and what's not. An exciting holiday it shall be then.

For now, it's a temporal adieu.

SingTel is annoying.

A week ago, whenever I receive SMS-es, the number of that person shows up instead of his name that I saved in contacts.

Let's say I stored this person's contact number as 91234567 with his name as Mister Zag. Instead of "Mister Zag" showing up as the contact that sent the SMS, I'll see +6591234567 as the number instead. And no, it's not just one person, I receive many SMS-es daily from different people, and I have to guess who sends the SMS based on the style of the message.

I don't memorise phone numbers. I mean, WHO DOES MEMORISE ALL 400+ contact numbers in his phone!

And Singtel seems to be throwing another fit after that issue was resolved. I get noisy advertisements from 741612, but I don't receive messages on time. As in, I will not get to read your SMS-es until I switch off and on my phone again.

It is even annoying considering I have to "refresh" my phone every hour to receive 5-10 messages, with some angry SMS-es with people screaming in CAPS.

So in the meantime, I am very sorry if I cannot reply your SMS-es on time! =(

And you know, the same problems happened like around the same time last year? I think I'll want to switch back to M1 soon.

I'm feeling really bored now.

It is quite of an irony considering everything that has been happening this year is just rush-rush-rush-rush-rush. It's as if there's quite a fair bit of free time and hardly anything to do.

Oh, I am stuck in the computer lab waiting for the madness of open house to begin. Facebook isn't exactly too cooperative anyway, so it means no fishing =X

And this post is more of a rant. Does this blog need a full update? Lots of stuff have been happening, but then I am really too tired to think back on the what-has happened. Down the road, it's PW and Chinese.

Here we go again.
